You know, for everyone saying that Thomas is such a common name. I don't think I've met a single Thomas/Tom/Tommy/etc. under 30!
But I do like that it's fairly well-established and easy to remember. And I like how Thomas sounds. Although I think Thomas as a full name is a bit too formal for everyday use. I like Tommy for a boy/child (since that's what kids will probably call him, anyway), and Tom for a man.
