  • I think Carson is a very nice name for a boy. While I like most unisex names on girls, I think the ending "son" is far too masculine sounding for Carson to be considered a unisex name. Additionally, it is predominantly on boys. I could name my daughter this if I wanted to, but I'm not going to do that because I do not think the ending "son" is feminine at all. The only "son" names I like on girls are the five that are predominantly used on girls in the US, which are Madison, Addison, Allison, Alison, and Emerson. Given the small number of girls given this name, I highly doubt that it will become more popular for girls than for boys any time soon.
